UL Certificated Systems

Sometimes, Insurance Underwriters and/or Security Professionals will require that an alarm system be designed, installed, and monitored according to a "Certified" standard.

Underwriter Laboratories can issue different types of certificates based on levels and adequacy of an alarm system. In addition to inspecting our Central Station, UL Auditors inspect systems that are installed by Per Mar, and time the response of our Alarm Response Officers, to insure that their rigorous standards are met.

These "Certificates" (AA, A, BB, High Line, etc.) are then accepted by the Insurance Industry and Security Professionals as evidence that certain levels of protection and best practices are being employed and maintained by the installing and monitoring company.
