Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Surveillance
The primary function of CCTV is that of
deterrence, and in a majority of instances, the presence of a visible camera and monitor system, will do just that and discourage wrongdoers.
In some CCTV applications the function is to
detect persons or events. This can be accomplished through the use of Security Officers manning the system and can be augmented through the use of alarm inputs to draw attention to certain events. With the use of new digital technology these video signals can be sent over network systems, and regular phone lines to
notify persons at other locations of events that may occur, and allow them to respond appropriately. With the use of video recorders or digital hard drive recorders, an event captured on camera is
documented and can be saved for later review, or be used as evidence.
These same types of camera systems are used to
monitor industrial processes. From bakeries to birthing stalls, Per Mar can design and install a CCTV system to meet your needs.
