Access Control

If you have one door that needs to be controlled or 1,000 doors at 100 different locations through out the country, that need control and accountability, your Per Mar Security Consultant can help design a system that will accomplish your objectives.

You could have one room that needs to be controlled (cash counting, high dollar inventory, wire transfer, IT, etc.), or an entire campus (hospitals, universities, office complex. A properly designed access control system, will allow authorized individuals, into authorized areas, at the authorized times. This creates a high degree of safety for employees and students. There are many different technologies available for access control. There are keypads that require the use of a PIN code for entry, several different types of cards, and biometrics, (hand, eye, face) scanners, to name a few.

Some features of access control:

  • No worries about duplicated keys.Reports….
  • Who went where, and when did they go there?
  • Automatic locking and unlocking of doors.
  • Security levels and access times are easily changed…. No re-keying.
  • Integrate with intrusion alarms.
  • Elevator control.
  • Gate control.
  • May integrate with an I.D. badge program
  • Card technologies may be combined…may be possible to use an existing card.
  • Scalable… Start with one or two doors, add additional doors as budgetary or building planning constraints allow.
